This component will insert a model designed for a lighting column. Once inserted, it will add the first part of the model which is the column. It will be inserted with a cable and a protective device. Then user needs to add a lighting fixture to the column using the insert menu and selecting the final circuit option to finalise the lighting column modelling. This inserted final circuit will automatically be set as a lighting circuit.

In order to model a series of columns, a new column should be inserted to the previous one. ElectricalOM also has a built-in lighting column creator tool which can be accessed via Functions menu.

Before using this option, user needs to select a suitable place to insert the columns, for example a switchboard. If not, ElectricalOM will display a pop-up window and ask the user to select a location to insert columns will be created.

Then, user can select or type in desired value at Ligthing Column Auto Creator screen and click OK. After this, ElectricalOM will create the columns and insert them to the selected location.

However, it should be noted that cables and protective devices must be set after creation.
