Extended Functions

These functions will add some extra abilities on board settings.



  • Increase/decrease board thickness on schematic: These buttons will increase or decrease the thickness of the box representing a board. Button with + sign will increase thickness where button with - sign will decrease the thickness.



  • Increase/decrease board width on schematic: These buttons will increase or decrease the width of the box representing a board. Button with + sign will increase width where button with - sign will decrease width. It must be noted that these buttons will not make any changes to the spacing between ways.



  • Increase/decrease spacing between ways: These buttons will increase or decrease the spacing between ways of a board. Button with + sign will increase spacing where button with - sign will decrease spacing. Increasing or decreasing spacing between ways will also make the board wider, or narrower.
  • Reset button will revert all the changes.
  • Hide ways/Show ways: These buttons will hide or show the way boxes of a board.



Label Adjustments


These buttons will move the label of a board as shown below.



  • Reset button will reset the location of the label.


Quick Layout Adjustments


If the original layout is as below:



  • Straight cable only option will straighten the cable of the selected board.



  • Align only option will try to align selected boards but will not modify the cable. In order to make this function work, minimum two boards should be selected. Selection is done by holding the "shift" key of the keyboard and selecting the boards by clicking on them Boards will turn to blue once the selection is accepted.The first board selected sets the reference for alignment. In the example below, the far right panel is selected first.





  • Straight cable and align option will combine two functions above and attempt to both align the selected boards and straighten their cables. Selection is the same as above.
