Switchboards are different than distribution boards as they do not have allocated ways. In order to insert spare ways to a switchboard, Add Spare Ways option can be used. User can select the method of insertion, either by defining the number of ways or by defining a percentage. Remove existing spares option can be used to remove existing spares and add the new ones. It is important to understand that this function only works with 1ph circuits, and the percentage both displayed and user defined for insertion should assume the total number of 1ph ways.



If Remove existing spares box is ticked, ElectricalOM will delete previously created spare ways.
