When an entity assigned to a circuit is selected, some information about this circuit will be displayed here.

  • Circuit will display the assigned circuit prefix and description pulled from ElectricalOM. This field cannot be modified directly from CAD Plan Design module.
  • Circuit length will display the estimated length of wiring for the selected circuit. This uses CAD Plan Design data like symbols elevation, cable installation elevation, for estimation.
  • Final circuits points will display total installation quantity. This is not same as quantity of the symbols themselves, because a single symbol can be used to indicate multiple installation points.
    For example, first picture shows a symbol set to 1 installation point where the second one shows a symbol set to 2 installation points. For further details on how to set installation points, see Properties Tab.




Note: In order ElectricalOM to count correct final installation points, make sure symbols used are under a final circuit category. ElectricalOM will not include final points set for a symbol under other categories like switches, wiring, etc.. Otherwise synchronisation may not update quantities accurately.
