Consumer Unit Schedules
« on: 03 November 2023, 09:24 »
We've had feedback from some clients regarding how we show split load consumer units with the extension board. Generally it's found to be confusing with the split section having a prefix of the way it was added to, e.g. by adding the extension board to way 9, all ways then become 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 etc.

Is there any way to avoid this and just start the numbering again?

We also are struggling with how RCD protective devices are shown for split load consumer units. Below are two screenshots. One using ElecOM and one using a different software package. I'd like to try and make the ElecOM output more like the other image as it's easier to understand. Does anyone know any better ways of setting up the reports?

Simple answer is not at the moment.

"I'd like to try and make the ElecOM output more like the other image"

You can use custom report excel templates to create your own format. you can find the codes used for various data here:

Hi Mert

Thanks for the reply. I think the excel templates will be very useful.

I've just been trying out the ones already in ElecOM and I have a number of boards with an 'extension board' but they are not recognised as split boards for the excel templates. They are recognised as a DB but don't display the extension board part. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

We made some changes and the Excel-based report will work as expected with extension boards. This will be available in the upcoming update. Please see the image below:
