Title: Rotation of text within Symbols
Post by: mbd-uk on 09 December 2020, 16:10
I have created a symbol that has letters within it.

However, when inserted I sometimes need to rotate the text, to align with page orientation.

I tried to explode the symbol, which worked... but now it is not a symbol?

After inserting the symbol you have created, select it and then right click on it and select Explode.
Do the same procedure again.
Then you will be able to adjust different parts of the symbol, in your example to rotate the text.

Another way is to avoid use text at your symbol at all and then add a label on the symbol and assign the rotation to 0.

Finally, if you don't add text in your symbol, you can add one with the draw text tool.

Kyriakos,  I am good at the exploding of the symbol, but cannot make a block/symbol again and can no longer be referenced to the Circuit.

Label, to be repositioned on top of the symbol seems the best option.
